DJ’s Guil n’ JoeyK are taking House Music by storm! Learn more about them and when they spin next..

The Brazilian Duo started their way into the house music scene in 2005 as promoters at Crobar NYC. Inspired by the beats of Victor Calderone, Deep Dish, Chus & Ceballos, Roger Sanchez, Danny Tenaglia, Richie Santana and Peter Bailey. Guil n’ Joey K felt that it was time to take their passion for music to another level!

In the summer of that same year they decided to throw a pool party with three speakers, two turntables, one mixer, and a case filled with vinyls. They had their friend John V working the one and twos getting the crowd amped up. After spending hours listening and watching him play they decided to try it for the first time. It was very noticeable that they had a lot of things to learn and many days of practice ahead of them. But one thing was undeniable after their performance that day, They had the talent to do big things and the duo knew they were onto something.

Music has been their passion since they were children, Guil used to play Bass and Percussion, and Joey played Guitar and Drums. Together they make eachother better and feed off eachothers energy. Their set is a journey into music you will hear tracks from Deep to Underground, Tech to Tribal, Sexy and Dark beats, filled with drums and outstanding vocals, taking the club to another level with their unique vibes. Not leaving behind the Brazilian Roots, they have that “Samba” groove mixed in as well. Guil n’ Joey K have a variety skills and sounds that they use to play to the many different crowds around the world. They feed off the crowd knowing when and how to drop that next track. Guil n’ Joey K have played along world renowned DJs like Victor Calderone, Loco Dice, Chus & Ceballos, Chris Liebing, Jonathan Peters, Charles Lima, Danny Way and Mario Calegari just to name a few. They are currently in the studio producing and remixing new tracks with their fellow friends Adriano D’Costa, Junior C, Charles Lima and Iaell Meyer.
